Network Security Engineer

📋 Description

• Own network security policies, standards and baselines for enterprise networks.
• Define secure-by-design network architectures and reference patterns.
• Govern security controls requirements with IT Network Operations.
• Define and govern continuous monitoring and logging for network devices and services.
• Drive remediation of vulnerabilities and control gaps based on risk.
• Act as network security SME for cyber incidents, guiding containment and recovery.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in industry with 5+ years in network security/cyber engineering.
• Hands-on design and security of enterprise networks using NGFW, SD-WAN and NAC.
• Experience designing secure network architectures with segmentation and remote access.
• Experience with change management and operations to implement security controls in production.
• Certifications such as PCNSE or CCNP Security or equivalent.
• Defence-in-depth, zero-trust principles and secure network patterns.
