Overview:We are seeking a passionate and visionary Senior Product Manager to lead and define the product direction, strategy, and execution of AI-generated and AI-native games. You will need a deep understanding of the potential and limitations of AI technologies (especially AIGC), have keen insights into player demands for future interaction and entertainment experiences, and possess strong execution capabilities to transform cutting-edge ideas into viable product prototypes and demo features using current AI technologies. You will work closely with top AI researchers, engineers, and game designers to explore and build the next generation of gaming experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Research & Planning

  • Conduct in-depth research on global trends, technological breakthroughs, and player behavior shifts in AI-generated content, AI-native applications, and gaming.
  • Analyze the disruptive potential of AI technologies (e.g., LLMs, diffusion models, RL, agentic AI) in game design, content generation, gameplay innovation, narrative experiences, and social interaction.
  • Define and plan the long-term product vision, strategic roadmap, and phased goals for AI Lab in the fields of AI-generated and AI-native games
  • Identify and assess business opportunities and risks associated with emerging forms of AI-powered games.

2. Product Definition & Innovation

  • Lead the conceptualization and definition of new game concepts, core gameplay mechanics, and product forms enabled by AI technologies—especially generative AI—to deliver truly "AI-native" experiences.
  • Design product solutions leveraging AI to enable dynamic content generation (e.g., scenes, storylines, quests, characters, items), personalized experiences, intelligent NPCs, adaptive difficulty systems, and player creation tools.
  • Own product requirements documentation (PRD), clearly defining target users, core value propositions, functional specs, user journeys, and success metrics.
  • Drive the implementation of product demos, capable of independently building game demos from scratch using existing AI tools.

3. Technical-Driven Execution & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Deeply understand the principles, capabilities, and limitations of AI technologies, enabling effective communication with technical teams (researchers, algorithm engineers) to explore feasibility for implementation.
  • Collaborate closely with game designers, artists, technical artists, and engineers to ensure technical execution aligns with creative vision.

Qualifications:

1. Must-Have Skills & Experience

  • Deep understanding and strong interest in AI, especially generative AI such as LLMs and diffusion models, including their fundamentals, applications, strengths, and limitations. Prior experience in AI-related products (not limited to games) is preferred.
  • Strong foresight and strategic thinking: able to anticipate 3–5 years tech trends and player needs, challenge the status quo, and conceptualize groundbreaking product formats.
  • Excellent innovative thinking and problem-solving skills: capable of refining clear directions from ambiguous requirements, exploring the unknown, and finding innovative solutions.
  • Profound understanding and passion for the gaming industry: familiarity with gameplay mechanics, design principles, player psychology, and industry trends across different game genres. Prior experience in game products, especially UGC, procedural generation, or sandbox games is highly preferred.
  • Great communication, coordination, and influence: Ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and drive cross-functional, cross-regional teams (technical, design, business) toward shared goals. Mandarin is required in this position as working partners and stakeholders are from China.

2. Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Artificial Intelligence, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
  • Direct experience in products leveraging AI or machine learning technologies.
  • Background in game design or game development is a strong plus.
