The Role
As Lead Product Manager, Payments, you’ll own the strategy, roadmap, and execution of Neo’s payments systems—critical infrastructure that touches every customer transaction. You’ll drive improvements across reliability, cost, and customer experience, while balancing the needs of customers, engineering, operations, and external partners.
This is a senior IC or emerging group leadership role: you’ll be expected to take ownership of complex, high-stakes systems, but also provide mentorship and influence across the broader product team.
What you'll be doing:
Define and drive the payments product strategy—owning the roadmap and identifying high-impact opportunities.
Lead complex builds and enhancements across payment rails, settlement, reconciliation, and partner integrations.
Own business outcomes: improve payment success rates, reduce operational costs, and optimize vendor relationships.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Risk, Ops, Finance, Compliance, and external partners.
Proactively identify risks and manage critical incidents—owning the outcome when stakes are high.
Mentor and influence other PMs, sharing systems knowledge and product craft.
Represent payments in company-wide strategy and planning conversations.
Who we are looking for:
7+ years of professional experience, with at least 2 years in formal product management roles.
Track record of owning complex systems end to end—shipping, iterating, and scaling successfully.
Strong KPI fluency: able to tie decisions to outcomes and communicate data-driven stories.
Fast, structured thinker with clear communication skills.
Pragmatic operator who thrives in ambiguity and high-stakes environments.
Cross-functional fluency—comfortable moving between engineering, operations, risk, finance, and partners.
Bonus: direct experience with payments, settlement, reconciliation, or financial infrastructure (not required).
