Role Overview

We are looking for a qualified and motivated Physician Associate (PA) to join our multidisciplinary team. This full-time role focuses on managing dermatology referrals and urgent skin excisions, communicating important clinical findings to patientsand ensuring high-quality referral letters. You willplay a key role in ensuring clinical clarity and timely follow-up for our members.

Key Responsibilities

Communicate abnormal skin findingsincluding suspected skin cancers, to patients in a clear, compassionate, and clinically appropriate manner.

Prioritisation and management of urgent and routine skin referrals, ensuring high-quality referral letters with accurate clinical information.

Provide clinical context and guidance to patients’regardingreferrals and follow-up.

Ensure all patient communications are accurately documented in the medical records.

Work directly under supervision from the Regional Derma Lead and withinour HQ Dermatology team to ensure quality and safety within our skin pathways.

Appropriate clinical escalation and contribution to the timely resolution of member concerns and urgent findings.

Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

PG Dip in Physician Associate Studies from a UK training programme with successful completion of the UK National Physician Associate Examination.

Registered with the PA Managed Voluntary Register (PAMVR) and GMC registered with a licence to practice in the UK.

12 months post-qualification experience with experience or an interest in dermatology desirable.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and cohesively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Commitment to CPD and professional development.

Familiarity with digital health platforms and remote patient communications.
