We are expanding our Cardiology Service and seeking a Physician Associate (PA) to join our Cardiology Team.

About the job

As a Physician Associate in the ECG team, you will play a key role in reviewing CardioSecur ECGs and 12-lead ECGs, communicating results to members, and working as part of a wider team that includes GPs and cardiologists.

This role combines clinical review with direct member communication, ensuring our members receive timely, accurate, and reassuring feedback. You will be supported by clear protocols and senior clinical oversight.

ECG Review Responsibilities:

  • Independently review CardioSecur ECGs and standard 12-lead ECGs. Applying structured interpretation protocols and highlight abnormalities.
  • Escalate cases appropriately to GPs or cardiologists.
  • Provide clear, empathetic, and accurate explanations of ECG results to members.
  • Respond to member queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Clinical Governance & Safety:

  • Follow evidence-based guidelines and Neko Health referral protocols.
  • Document reviews and communications clearly in member records.
  • Participate in audits and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with GPs and cardiologists to ensure seamless pathways for members.
  • Join regular team calibration meetings to maintain consistency in interpretation.
  • Contribute to team education, including ECG case discussions.
  • Person Specification:

  • Essential:
  • Qualified Physician Associate with UK registration.
  • Experience in clinical decision-making and safe escalation.
  • Interest or background in cardiology and ECG interpretation.
  • Strong communication skills, able to explain medical information clearly to non-medical members.
  • Competent with digital platforms and comfortable working in a tech-enabled environment.
  • Desirable:
  • Previous experience in primary care, cardiology, or acute medicine.
  • Experience with digital health or remote clinical services.
  • Interest in preventive medicine and health innovation.
