Nearsure is seeking a Senior Adtech Engineer to help build and scale our programmatic advertising platform. This remote-friendly role focuses on real-time bidding, ad serving, and data-driven optimization to deliver high-performance advertising experiences for our partners.

Role overview

As a Senior Adtech Engineer, you will own critical components of the adtech stack, collaborate with product and data teams, and help shape Nearsure's programmatic infrastructure. You will work on real-time bidding pipelines, DSP/SSP integrations, and data processing that powers targeting and measurement.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain high-throughput RTB components and real-time bidding pipelines
• Integrate with demand-side platforms (DSPs) and supply‑side platforms (SSPs); implement OpenRTB protocols and header bidding flows (Prebid)
• Build and optimize data pipelines for event data, measurement, and attribution
• Collaborate with product, data, and platform teams to define requirements and deliver features on time
• Mentor junior engineers, participate in code reviews, and promote best practices and testing
• Ensure reliability, observability, and scalable deployments in cloud environments

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in adtech or programmatic advertising
• Deep knowledge of RTB and OpenRTB protocols; experience with header bidding and Prebid
• Strong programming skills in Python (or Java/Go); SQL for data analysis and warehousing
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with data pipelines, ETL processes, and modern data tools (e.g., BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake)
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills; ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment

Nice to have

• Experience with ad servers (Google Ad Manager), measurement/attribution, and privacy/compliance topics in advertising

Location & Work Model

Remote work from Latin America. This is a remote-first role with coordination across teams as needed.
