Job Description
Senior Backend .NET Engineer at Nearsure (Remote - Latin America). In this role you will design, develop and maintain scalable backend services using C# and .NET. You will build robust APIs, implement microservices, and own data access layers with SQL databases. You will collaborate with product, frontend, and DevOps teams to deliver reliable software, participate in design reviews, write tests, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments (Azure).
Responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain backend services using .NET/C#
- Develop RESTful APIs and microservices
- Work with SQL databases and data access layers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features
- Write unit/integration tests and participate in code reviews
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments
Qualifications
- 5+ years of backend development experience
- Strong knowledge of C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core
- Experience with SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, SQL Server)
- Familiarity with microservices, REST, and cloud platforms (Azure)
- Strong problem solving, debugging and performance tuning skills
