Role Overview

As the Data & Telemetry Architect, you will define and implement the data and telemetry architecture that powers real-time decision making for customers. You will collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and product teams to build scalable telemetry pipelines and robust data models.

Responsibilities

• Define telemetry instrumentation strategy and data models
• Design and implement scalable data pipelines for streaming and batch processing
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and governance
• Evaluate and select technologies for telemetry collection, storage, and processing
• Mentor engineers and contribute to architecture governance

Requirements

• 5-8+ years of experience in data engineering or data architecture (senior level)
• Strong experience with telemetry, event-driven architectures, and streaming systems
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python, Java, or Scala)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and data tooling (e.g., Kafka, Spark/Flink, ETL/ELT)
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate business needs into robust data architectures
