Overview
Nearsure is hiring a Java Developer to join the Talent Connection team in a hybrid Europe-based role. You will design and implement backend services using Java and Spring Boot, build scalable REST APIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services using Java
- Build and consume RESTful APIs
- Collaborate with product and frontend teams to define requirements
- Write clean, well-documented code and perform code reviews
- Ensure performance, reliability, and security of services
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Java
- Strong knowledge of Spring/Spring Boot
- Experience with relational databases and SQL
- Familiarity with containers (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Experience with Git and Agile methodologies
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent)
Nice to have
- Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms
- Knowledge of event-driven architectures or microservices
