Nearsure is seeking a skilled Fullstack TypeScript Engineer to join our product development team. You will contribute to building high-quality web applications with a strong emphasis on scalable frontend and robust backend services using TypeScript.

Overview

As a Remote Fullstack Engineer, you will collaborate with product and design teams to deliver features end-to-end, from UI components to server-side APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, and maintain features across frontend and backend using TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL endpoints.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define solution architecture and ensure code quality.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering best practices.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience with TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Strong frontend experience with React (or similar frameworks).
• Backend experience with Node.js, Express (or similar).
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and modern data access patterns.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and CI/CD workflows.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, globally distributed team.

Nice-to-have

• Experience with GraphQL, Docker/Kubernetes, or serverless architectures.
• Knowledge of testing strategies and modern security practices.
