(1175) SR Software Test Engineer

Job Summary

Nearsure is seeking a Senior Software Test Engineer to join our growing QA team. In this role, you will design and execute manual and automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. You will collaborate with product managers, developers, and DevOps to define test strategies and contribute to building scalable automation frameworks. This is a remote position across Latin America.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for web and/or mobile applications.
• Develop and maintain automated test suites using Selenium, Playwright, and related tools.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and participate in continuous improvement of testing processes.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and API testing; report defects with clear reproduction steps.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define acceptance criteria and ensure quality throughout the SDLC.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on software testing experience.
• Strong experience with test automation tools such as Selenium and/or Playwright.
• Programming skills in Python and/or Java.
• Familiarity with CI/CD workflows (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and version control.
• Experience testing APIs (REST/GraphQL) and using tools like Postman or similar.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to work in a fast-paced, remote environment.
