Nearsure is seeking an SSR SDET to join our fully remote team. This position focuses on delivering high-quality software through strong testing and automation practices in a Latin America remote context.

Role Overview

As an SSR SDET, you will design, implement, and maintain automated test suites, contribute to test plans, and collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure software quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain automated test suites for web applications
• Create and execute test plans, test cases, and defect reports
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with developers to improve testability
• Review requirements and define acceptance criteria
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to quality processes

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in software QA and automation
• Proficiency with at least one programming language (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Java)
• Experience with automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) and CI/CD
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies and test design techniques
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in remote distributed teams
