Staff Architect CRM at Nearsure

Overview

Nearsure is seeking a Staff Architect CRM to own the architecture of our CRM platform, define standards, and lead technical decisions across product, engineering, and data teams. This remote role is based in Latin America and reports to the VP of Engineering.

What you'll do

• Own CRM system architecture and technical roadmap, guiding the design of scalable, reliable, and secure CRM solutions.
• Define and enforce standards for data models, APIs, integration patterns, and security across CRM products.
• Lead large-scale CRM implementations, set technical direction, and mentor engineers.
• Collaborate with product, analytics, and data teams to translate business requirements into high-impact technical solutions.
• Review designs, drive technical excellence, and make sound trade-offs under deadlines.
• Evaluate new technologies and cloud services, balancing capabilities with risk and maintainability.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software architecture or senior engineering experience.
• Experience designing CRM platforms or large-scale customer data systems.
• Strong background in distributed systems, APIs, data modeling, and security.
• Proficiency with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Leadership and communication skills; ability to influence product direction.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent; advanced degree preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with CRM vendors (Salesforce,HubSpot) or marketing automation.
• Familiarity with data privacy and compliance frameworks.
