Nearsure is seeking a Senior Adtech Engineer to join our team. You will design and build scalable adtech services that power data-driven advertising experiences.

The Senior Adtech Engineer (Python, SQL, Javascript, RAG)

Location: Remote in Latin America. This is a remote role that enables collaboration across regions.

What you will do

• Develop backend services in Python for ad delivery, bidding, and measurement
• Design and maintain robust SQL data pipelines and analytics queries
• Build interactive dashboards and frontend components with JavaScript
• Leverage Retrieval Augmented Generation to improve targeting, recommendations, and automation
• Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and engineers to deliver high-quality software
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and CI/CD practices

What we are looking for

• 2+ years of professional experience in adtech or data-intensive engineering role
• Strong Python backend development experience
• Proficiency with SQL and data modeling
• Experience with JavaScript for frontend or dashboards
• Familiarity with RAG and AI-assisted tooling
• Experience shipping production-grade services, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP), containers, and orchestration tooling
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration

Nice to have

• Experience with real-time bidding or ad exchanges, header bidding
• Knowledge of data privacy and compliance in ad tech
