Nearsure is seeking a Senior Fullstack React & Java Engineer to join our remote-friendly team. This role focuses on building scalable web applications using React on the frontend and Java on the backend. You will collaborate with product, design, and engineering to deliver high-quality software in an agile environment. This position is remote in Latin America.

Role

• Develop robust, scalable web applications using React (frontend) and Java (backend).
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and data models.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and ship features.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and CI/CD processes.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and improve system reliability.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Ensure performance, security, and quality of applications.
• Mentor junior developers and share best practices.
• Assist in deployment and monitoring of services.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in full-stack development.
• Strong expertise with React and Java.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and working with databases (SQL/NoSQL).
• Familiarity with cloud deployments and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills; ability to work remotely.
