Overview

Nearsure is seeking a Senior Software Test Engineer to join our remote team in Latin America. In this role you will help ensure the quality and reliability of our software products by designing robust test strategies, implementing automated tests, and collaborating closely with product and engineering teams to ship high-quality software.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test plans and test cases.
• Develop and maintain automated tests using Selenium, Playwright, or equivalent tooling.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define acceptance criteria and requirements.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, troubleshoot failures, and ensure rapid and reliable releases.
• Identify, reproduce, and track defects with clear reproduction steps and effective communication.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software testing experience.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and testing techniques.
• Hands-on automation experience with Selenium, Playwright, or similar frameworks.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java.
• Experience with CI/CD workflows and testing in cloud environments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
