Overview

Join Nearsure as a Senior Fullstack Javascript Engineer. This remote role is open to candidates in Latin America. You will design and build scalable web applications across the full stack using JavaScript, collaborating with a cross-functional team.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications across the full stack using JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality features.
• Build and consume APIs, optimize performance, and ensure security and reliability.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and technical roadmap.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in code reviews.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack JavaScript development.
• Strong proficiency with Node.js and a modern frontend framework (React, Angular, or Vue).
• Experience with TypeScript and modern tooling.
• Experience with databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL/MongoDB) and ORM usage.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), CI/CD, and containerization (Docker).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with GraphQL, microservices, or serverless architectures.
• Knowledge of testing strategies and frameworks.
