Nearsure – Senior AI Engineer

We are seeking a Senior AI Engineer to join Nearsure on a remote basis. This role focuses on designing, developing, and deploying production‑grade AI/ML systems that drive real business impact. You will collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product teams to translate complex problems into scalable, robust solutions, and you will help shape Nearsure’s AI platform and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and productionize machine learning models using Python and frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow.
• Build data processing and feature engineering pipelines to support model development and deployment.
• Deploy, monitor, and optimize ML inference pipelines in cloud environments; implement ML ops best practices.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate requirements into scalable ML solutions and maintain thorough documentation.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the evolution of Nearsure’s ML platform and standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in machine learning or AI engineering.
• Strong Python experience with hands‑on work in PyTorch and/or TensorFlow.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and ML lifecycle tooling (CI/CD for ML, MLOps).
• Solid knowledge of data processing, SQL, and building data pipelines.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Nice to Have

• Experience with NLP, computer vision, or reinforcement learning.
• Familiarity with model monitoring, bias detection, and governance practices.
