Overview
Join Nearsure as a Staff Fullstack Java & JavaScript Engineer. This remote role is open to candidates in Latin America. You will design and build scalable web applications using Java on the backend and JavaScript on the frontend. You will collaborate with product, design, and QA teams, own features end-to-end, participate in architecture discussions, and help raise our engineering bar in a remote-first environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java
- Develop robust frontend components with JavaScript
- Collaborate with product, design, and QA teams to deliver high-quality software
- Help shape system architecture and drive engineering best practices
- Write tests, participate in code reviews, and contribute to CI/CD automation
Requirements
- Strong experience with Java and JavaScript in a full-stack role
- Proven ability to build scalable web applications and REST APIs
- Experience in remote or distributed teams is a plus
