Job Description

Nearsure is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our engineering team. You will design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure to enable reliable, secure, and high-performing software delivery for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery.
• Plan and operate robust cloud infrastructure (primarily AWS) and container orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform and related tooling.
• Automate monitoring, logging, and alerting with Prometheus, Grafana, and centralized logging solutions.
• Ensure security best practices, perform cost optimization, and manage incident response and disaster recovery.
• Collaborate with software engineers, QA, and product teams to enable rapid, safe releases.
• Mentor junior DevOps engineers and contribute to architecture decisions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of DevOps/SRE experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience with Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and cloud architecture patterns.
• Solid experience with CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) and Linux administration.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK).
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with GCP or Azure.
• Knowledge of security best practices, IAM, and network security.
• Experience with serverless architectures and container security.
