NDE Engineer, Supply Chain

📋 Description

• Serve as NDE point of contact for parts to resolve supplier challenges.
• Own NDE onboarding and ramp-to-rate for new or changed suppliers.
• Drive NDE-related product improvements and drawing updates.
• Review and close issues in NDE requirements; re-source as needed.
• Communicate status to vendors and internal teams.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• 1+ years of manufacturing or processing engineering.
• Experience with machined parts, sheet metal, composites, or raw materials.
• NDE methods: ET, MT, PT, UT, RT/DR, VT.
• Assess supplier technical capability from equipment to personnel.
• Knowledge of PPAP, APQP, FAI and related quality processes.
• 8D problem solving and lean concepts.
• Strong cross-functional communication and influence.
