Sr PeopleSoft System Administrator

Experience in –

People Tools 8.57 - 8.60: 7+ years (Required)

Change Assistant: 4 years (Required)

PeopleSoft System Administrator: 10+ years (Required)

Oracle and/or MSSQL DBA Experience (Optional)

Responsibilities –

Implement and maintain operational readiness & stability of PeopleSoft environments, maintaining web, application, and database tiers

Perform installs, upgrades, updates (PUM images), patches, maintenance, support, troubleshooting and issues resolution for PeopleSoft environments.

Monitor system performance, optimize resource utilization, troubleshoot problems, manage and maintain reliable backup and recovery strategy

Work with developers and functional teams to troubleshoot issues with delivered and custom developed PeopleSoft functionality, to update and maintain PeopleSoft security and to resolve performance related issues

Continuous learning and development of skills and approaches to deliver solutions.

Participate in supporting the PeopleSoft applications outside of normal business hours.

Assist with installing, configuring, and troubleshooting PS environment components across multiple Cloud technologies including AZURE, AWS & OCI

Perform complete installs of PeopleSoft; provide troubleshooting in the PeopleSoft Internet Architecture (PIA); analyze issues with SQRs, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Process Schedulers, Application Servers, Application Messaging (Integration Broker); debug and optimize SQL statements within Query, COBOL and Application Engine; and install, configure and troubleshoot Elasticsearch

Assist with installing, configuring, and troubleshooting PS environment components across multiple Cloud technologies including AWS & OCI

PeopleSoft administration with deep understanding of the architecture configuration, tuning, and administration on Linux with an Oracle database

Qualifications

Minimum a Bachelor’s degree

Minimum 10 years PeopleSoft experience required including thorough understanding of WebLogic, Tuxedo, Elasticsearch, PeopleTools, and associated 3rd party software and understanding of web and application server load balancing

Oracle database creation, backups, restores/refreshes, flashback

Linux experience with shell scripting

SQL coding and tuning

Ability to independently organize work, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple and changing priorities
