About the Role
Technical Operators are equipment experts who support production by ensuring efficiency, product quality, and equipment reliability. In this role, you’ll troubleshoot and repair process and packaging equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and partner with production teams to drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What you want to know
- Schedule we operate 12 hour shifts that rotate both days and nights - we are currently looking for individuals to join both shifts
- Pay: Hourly pay at $29 per hour (plus differential for night shift)
Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and repair equipment in pneumatics, hydraulics, automation, machining, and mechanical systems.
Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) and support equipment setups and changeovers.
Train operators in Autonomous Maintenance (AM) and support TPM activities, including breakdown analysis.
Document work orders using SAP Plant Maintenance.
Communicate effectively with operators, peers, supervisors, and leadership.
Follow all safety and GMP standards, including LOTO and Confined Space procedures.
Assess equipment reliability and perform routine adjustments and repairs.
Maintain accurate records of quality checks, production numbers, and waste performance.
What We’re Looking For
Solid technical troubleshooting and mechanical problem-solving skills.
Ability to read pneumatic schematics and mechanical drawings.
Strong communication skills and teamwork mindset.
Flexibility to work varied schedules based on production needs.
Physical ability to lift/push/pull (10–200 lbs.), work at heights, and stand for long shifts.
Willingness to learn and build technical skills.
Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Associate Degree in a technical field with 2+ years’ experience in manufacturing, or 5+ years of progressive manufacturing experience preferred
