The Commercial Finance Business Partner will play a pivotal role in supporting MyPass’s growth by providing financial modelling, commercial insights, and business partnering across Sales, Customer Success & Operations. This role bridges finance and the business, enabling informed decision-making, improved pricing and retention outcomes, and scalable financial planning as MyPass enters its next growth phase.

Day to Day

  • FP&A & Reporting
  • Lead monthly management reporting, including inputs into board packs and executive dashboards. Maintain and continuously improve financial models covering ARR, pipeline conversion, and scenario planning.
  • Support the annual budget process and quarterly reforecast cycles.
  • Enhance visibility of key SaaS KPIs (ARR, NRR, GRR, unit economics, Rule of 40, and customer metrics)
  • Standardise reporting processes and transition manual tracking into structured, scalable tools.
  • Business Partnering
  • Partner with Sales and Customer Success to align forecasts with pipeline activity and retention drivers.
  • Collaborate with Product & Engineering on resource planning and cost benefit analyses, tracking.
  • Provide actionable insights into revenue trends, churn risks, and margin drivers to inform strategic decisions.
  • Project Support & Financial Modelling
  • Deliver ad-hoc financial modelling for product, GTM, and operational initiatives.
  • Develop deal and pricing models to support enterprise contracts, as required.
  • Contribute financial input into corporate projects, including systems upgrades, process improvement, and other strategic initiatives as required.

  • Education & Professional Background
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related discipline.
  • CPA/CA/Equivalent (or working towards) highly desirable.
  • Experience
  • 4 - 7+ years in FP&A, commercial finance, or management reporting roles.
  • Proven experience with financial modelling (ARR, scenario planning, deal/pricing models).
  • Experience in SaaS, tech, or high-growth environments preferred.
  • Strong track record in budgeting, reforecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Exposure to business partnering with commercial, product, or operations teams.
  • Familiarity with investor/board reporting processes advantageous.
  • Technical Skills
  • Advanced Excel / financial modelling skills.
  • Experience with BI/reporting tools (Power BI, Snowflake, Tableau, or similar).Knowledge of SaaS metrics: ARR, NRR/GRR, CAC, unit economics, Rule of 40.
  • Comfortable working with accounting/ERP systems (Xero, PowerBI etc.).
  • Soft Skills
  • Strong analytical thinking, with ability to turn data into clear business insights.
  • Excellent communication — able to present financials to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Collaborative style with ability to partner across Sales, CS, Product, and Engineering.
