About the Role: 

As a Certification TPM at Motive, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our product compliance with global standards, maintaining relationships with certification bodies, communicating with suppliers and managing certification processes. You will provide critical insights into the design, safety, and regulatory aspects of our products.

• External Communication: Engage with certification bodies and labs such as TUV, Cetecom, Intertek, UL, and SGS to facilitate product testing and documentation.
• Documentation Management: Maintain and audit technical product documentation regularly, ensuring compliance with regulatory updates.
• Certification Planning: Develop and implement formal certification test plans tailored to target markets. Act as a technical project manager for compliance projects.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with legal, hardware, software, firmware design, supplier chain, and product/project teams to create coherent certification plans.

• Background: Degree in Engineering related, e.g. Mechanical, Electrical, Project/product management or Chemical Engineering.
• Experience: A minimum of 2 years experience in consumer and/or commercial product  EMC, Safety, RF, and sustainability compliance, including familiarity with standards like FCC, IEC, EN/ETSI, RoHS, and REACH.
• Agency relations with external laboratories like Intertek, UL, TUV and SGS.Supply chain communication.
• Familiar with product design and process engineering.
• Additional Skills: 
  • Knowledge of EPEAT, TCO, ISO9001/16949.
  • Carriers specification, e.g. AT&T, T-mobile, Vodafone…etc..
  • Excellent communication and project management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross functional team
