About the role

The client offers a virtual platform for health management that is primarily targeted at weight loss centers and remote patient monitoring. For providers, nurses, doctors, and administrators, a branded web-based dashboard is provided. Patients are given branded iOS and Android mobile devices. Patients track information in the mobile app and interact with its features (food logging, measurement tracking, messaging, scheduling, content and forms, video conferencing, etc.) along with a variety of Bluetooth-connected devices (blood pressure cuff, body fat scale, etc.), and providers can manage this information from the web dashboard.

Case:The client is implementing a Spree-based e-commerce platform. Their clientele offer a variety of products and/or services to their patients, and their e-commerce platform will enable clinics to collect payments for those products in a seamless manner. The client is utilizing a multi-tenant configuration that will enable their clientele to display a storefront with a unique brand from which to market goods and services. Using Stripe Connect, which enables the client to capture a fixed fee or percentage from the sale, and send the balance back to their client. The majority of Spree implementations in both the Spree backend and the Storefront API are intended to be used to access the platform.

Responsibilities

- Serve as the client’s Spree E-commerce system’s owner, primary resource, and expert.- Your knowledge and expertise will be used by the technical team to suggest, plan, and develop comprehensive and reliable e-commerce solutions.- Manage the codebase of production and test Spree stores- Directing platform updates- Create modifications as needed, particularly in relation to needs for multiple tenants- Provide assistance to existing frontend and backend development teams with any Spree-related queries or expertise.
