Sr Front-End Engineer
Location: Bogotá, Colombia

About the Role As a Sr Front-End Engineer, you’ll craft elegant, accessible, and responsive web experiences within the React ecosystem for high-impact digital products. You’ll collaborate closely with design and backend teams to deliver pixel-perfect UI, optimize performance, and contribute to scalable component libraries—occasionally supporting cross-platform initiatives, payments, and low-code workflows. Responsibilities- Build, maintain, and optimize high-quality web interfaces using React.js and modern front-end tooling
- Translate Figma/design mockups into pixel-perfect, responsive, and accessible user experiences
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver UI components and end-to-end features
- Ensure performance, browser compatibility, and WCAG-compliant accessibility across platforms
- Implement animations, transitions, and interactions that elevate UX without compromising performance
- Integrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs and services like Stripe for payments
- Participate in code reviews and architecture discussions; contribute to a scalable component library/design system
- Write unit and integration tests to ensure reliability and maintainability
- Stay current with modern front-end trends, tools, and performance techniques
- Other duties as assigned
- 5+ years of front-end development experience, including production React.js applications
- Strong command of HTML5, CSS3 (Flexbox/Grid), JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript
- Meticulous attention to visual details: spacing, color accuracy, typography, and responsiveness
- Solid understanding of web accessibility principles and building accessible components
- Experience consuming REST APIs and managing state (Redux, Context API, React Query)
- Familiarity with component-based architecture and reusable design systems
- Proficient with Git, CI/CD, and collaborative Agile workflows
- Fluent in English (written and spoken) with clear, proactive communication
- Experience building mobile apps with React Native (strong plus)
- Knowledge of Stripe integrations, including checkout flows and webhooks (strong plus)
- Familiarity with Webflow or similar low-code platforms for marketing site updates/prototyping (strong plus)
- Exposure to testing tools such as Jest, React Testing Library, or Playwright
- Design sensibility or close collaboration with UX/UI teams
- Experience with Next.js, Framer Motion, or animation libraries
- Understanding of SEO and performance best practices for SPAs
- Contributions to open-source, technical blogs, or developer communities
