About the RoleAs a Front-End Engineer, you’ll craft elegant, accessible, and responsive interfaces for rich web experiences in the React ecosystem. You’ll collaborate across design, product, and backend teams to deliver high-quality UI, optimize performance, and uphold web standards for enterprise-grade applications. Opportunities exist to contribute across platforms, including React Native and low-code workflows. This contract is initially until January 31, 2026.
Responsibilities- Build, maintain, and optimize high-quality web interfaces using React.js and modern front-end tooling
- Translate Figma/design mockups into pixel-perfect, responsive, and accessible user experiences
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to implement UI components and end-to-end features
- Ensure performance, cross-browser compatibility, and WCAG-compliant accessibility
- Implement animations, transitions, and interactions that elevate UX without compromising performance
- Integrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs and services like Stripe for payments
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and contribute to a scalable component library
- Write unit and integration tests to ensure reliability and code quality
- Stay current with modern front-end trends, tools, and performance techniques
- Other duties as assigned
- 5+ years of relevant front-end development experience building production-grade React applications
- Strong command of HTML5, CSS3 (Flexbox/Grid), JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript
- Demonstrated attention to visual detail: spacing, color accuracy, typography, responsiveness
- Practical understanding of web accessibility principles and building accessible components
- Experience consuming REST APIs and managing state with Redux, Context API, or React Query
- Familiarity with component-based architecture and reusable design systems
- Proficient with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile collaboration
- Fluent in English (written and spoken) with clear communication skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with React Native (strong plus)
- Stripe integrations including checkout flows and webhooks (strong plus)
- Familiarity with Webflow or similar low-code platforms
- Experience with Jest, React Testing Library, or Playwright
- Design sensibility and close collaboration with UX/UI teams
- Experience with Next.js, Framer Motion, or animation libraries
- Understanding of SEO and SPA performance optimization best practices
- Contributions to open source, technical blogs, or developer communities
