The Accountant will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies. This role will support in preparing financial statements, managing reconciliations, and assisting with audits and reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain internal accounting controls in compliance with S4 requirements.
• Review and approve monthly financial statements, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Supervise, train, and mentor accounting staff to ensure accuracy and professional growth.
• Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with IFRS and company policies.
• Manage financial derivatives and IFRS 16 (Leases) processes when applicable.
• Oversee budgeting, month-end closing, and intercompany reconciliations.
• Approve payments and payroll processes across LATAM and NAMER regions.
• Contribute to the improvement of accounting systems and reporting tools such as Lucanet.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Solid knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards (GAAP/IFRS).
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Good communication skills in English (intermediate/advanced).
