About the Role

We seek a highly experienced Senior Test Automation Engineer to lead our QA automation initiatives. You will drive the design, development, and optimization of automated testing frameworks and test strategies, mentoring junior team members, and ensuring the highest quality standards for our web, mobile, and API platforms. Your leadership will be integral to shaping our testing processes and fostering a culture of testing excellence.

You’ll work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to ensure the delivery of high-quality software across web and mobile platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development, enhancement, and maintenance of scalable automated test frameworks and suites for web, mobile, and APIs.
  • Define and own test strategies, acceptance criteria, and quality standards across projects.
  • Mentor and guide mid QA team members; lead knowledge sharing and best practices.
  • Architect and implement CI/CD integration for automated tests, ensuring robust continuous testing pipelines.
  • Perform high-level analysis of system specifications, providing detailed test plans and risk assessments.
  • Review manual and automated test cases; identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, Product Owners, and stakeholders to align testing efforts.
  • Drive test automation initiatives in Agile environments, influencing sprint planning and retrospectives.
  • Establish metrics and reporting to monitor quality KPIs and automate reporting dashboards.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of extensive experience in QA, with a focus on test automation leadership.
  • Proven expertise with the following automation frameworks and tools: Selenium, Appium and Browserstack.
  • Experience in mobile testing manual and automated for native applications in Android and iOS platforms.
  • Advanced programming skills in Java, JavaScript.
  • Deep knowledge of RESTful API testing (Postman, Requests, or equivalents).
  • Demonstrated experience designing and integrating automated tests within CI/CD pipelines (Bitbucket Pipelines, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and best practices for testing in Agile environments.
  • Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills across complex systems.
  • Effective communicator with leadership abilities and collaboration skills in English.
Nice to Have
  • Knowledge of containerized environments (e.g., Docker).
  • ISTQB certification or similar QA credentials.
  • Experience testing cloud-based applications (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Test data management
