Full Stack developer with DevOps skills
The Role
We are looking for an experienced Full-Stack Developer who is passionate about the entire software lifecycle—from building new ideas to ensuring they run smoothly in production.
This is a dynamic role for a developer who thrives on variety. Your primary focus (approx. 50%) will be on rapid prototyping, working with leadership to quickly build and validate new product concepts.
The remainder of your time will be split between serving as an escalation point for triaging production support tickets and working closely with our SRE team to support and automate our infrastructure.
This position is a perfect fit for a strong, pragmatic developer who has a strong interest in DevOps and wants to apply their skills to CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, and automation, all while keeping their hands deep in product-focused code.
What You'll Do
- Write, test, and deploy code for new prototypes using Node.js and React.
- Investigate, document, and triage incoming support tickets, identifying the root cause and escalating to the appropriate team for resolution.
- Partner with the SRE team to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
- Help automate our AWS infrastructure (EKS, RDS, etc) using Pulumi.
- Support our GitOps deployment model by working with FluxCD.
- Operate with a high degree of autonomy and ownership in a fast-paced, agile-style environment.
Must-Have
- A pragmatic, curious, and autonomous mindset. You're comfortable with context-switching and owning your work.
- Significant professional experience as a developer at least 5 years of experience.
- Proficiency with TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
- A proven interest and hands-on experience in DevOps, including:
- Experience with a major cloud provider, preferably AWS.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code. Pulumi is preferred.
- Experience with containerization and basic Kubernetes.
- Experience with FluxCD or a similar GitOps tool.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with Python and Golang.
- Experience with Swift and SwiftUI
