Job Summary AAAA

We are seeking a skilled and creative Toymaker to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for designing, crafting, and refining toys that spark imagination, joy, and engagement for children of all ages. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on craftsmanship skills, an eye for detail, and a passion for creating high-quality, safe, and innovative toys. You will work closely with a team of designers, product developers, and quality assurance professionals to bring exciting new products to life.

Responsibilities

    Design and create prototypes for new toy concepts based on market trends, user feedback, and brand standards.    Develop and refine toy models using a variety of materials, including wood, fabric, plastic, and digital design software.    Work closely with the design and development teams to ensure that toys meet safety, durability, and aesthetic standards.    Conduct product testing to ensure toys are safe, functional, and engaging.    Collaborate on continuous improvement of product design and manufacturing processes.    Provide accurate cost and time estimates for production of prototypes and final products.

Skills and Qualifications

    Experience in Toy Design: Minimum of 3-5 years in toy design or a related field, with a portfolio showcasing previous work.    Craftsmanship Skills: Skilled in handling materials like wood, fabric, and plastic; proficiency with tools and machinery relevant to toy manufacturing.    Technical Skills: Familiarity with CAD or similar software for digital toy design and prototyping.    Creativity and Innovation: A strong sense of creativity to design toys that are unique, imaginative, and appealing to children and parents alike.    Knowledge of Safety Standards: Familiarity with child safety standards and regulations, including ASTM F963, EN 71, or equivalent.    Attention to Detail: Precision in measuring, cutting, assembling, and finishing products.    Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot issues in the design and production stages, ensuring high-quality output.    Team Collaboration: Strong communication skills to work effectively with designers, engineers, and other team members.

Preferred Qualifications

    Degree or certification in Industrial Design, Art, or related field.    Experience with sustainable or eco-friendly materials.    Understanding of manufacturing processes, from small batch production to large-scale manufacturing.
