Model N is seeking a highly motivated individual with demonstrated experience working in dynamic, fast-paced environments. The selected candidate will be a part of Application Services projects by supporting requirements gathering, documentation, testing, and implementation activities. This role works closely with senior analysts, project managers, Technical and Customer teams to ensure business needs are clearly understood and accurately translated into system solutions. Job Description

Support senior analysts and project teams across SDLC, Change Management, and related methodologies

Gather, document, and maintain business and functional requirements - support UAT

Participate in stakeholder meetings to capture business needs and objectives.

Prepare requirement specifications, user stories, and process flow diagrams.

Knowledge of manual testing techniques and the ability to write and execute test Scenarios.

Database and SQL knowledge to validate backend data during testing

Analytical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail to identify bugs and understand their impact

Contribute to QA efforts by:

Designing and executing manual test cases and scenarios.

Performing functional, regression, and integration testing.

Validating backend data using SQL queries.

Logging, tracking, and retesting defects to ensure resolution.

Support Automated Testing Initiatives with standard or in-house QA tools

Ensure test coverage aligns with requirements and business objectives

Support post-implementation activities such as issue tracking and maintaining documentation.

Job Qualification

2–3 years of experience in a Business analysis, QA, or application support role

Exposure to tools like ALM, JIRA, Confluence, and MS Office Suite

Exposure to Automated Testing Tools like Selenium will be an added advantage

Exceptional analytical thinking and attention to detail, Strong written and verbal communication skills

Continuously learn and deepen understanding of business operations and industry trends.

Familiarity with Agile or Waterfall methodologies and Basic understanding of business analysis concepts and software development life cycle (SDLC).

Comfortable with documentation, data analysis, and process mapping

Hands-on with SQL Queries will be an added advantage.

BE/BTech or ME/ MTech.
