Industrial/Mechanical Engineer, Easyplant (US based, Remote)

Mixtiles is a consumer hardware company enabling people to display memories in their homes. The Industrial/Mechanical Engineer for Easyplant will help design and optimize mechanical systems, fixtures, and tooling for the Easyplant line, with a US-based remote work arrangement.

About the Role

As an Industrial/Mechanical Engineer, you will design, analyze, and improve mechanical components and systems that support Easyplant production, work closely with product, manufacturing, and supplier teams, and help optimize for manufacturability and cost.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, and optimize mechanical systems and fixtures for Easyplant products.
• Develop and maintain BOMs, drawings, and specifications; select components and suppliers.
• Create prototypes and test plans; perform tolerance analysis and basic simulations (FEA where applicable).
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Product, and Quality teams to improve manufacturability, lead times, and quality.
• Document processes, test procedures, and validation protocols; support qualification and scale-up.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and cost-reduction efforts.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering (or related field).
• 3+ years of experience in industrial/manufacturing engineering.
• Proficiency with CAD tools (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or equivalent).
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, machining, assembly, and automation; experience with lean principles and FMEA is a plus.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; comfortable working in a remote/hybrid environment in the United States.

Location & Work Model

Hybrid role; US-based with remote work flexibility and periodic on-site collaboration as needed.
