Job Summary:

A Data Analyst gathers, cleans, and interprets data to provide insights and support decision-making. This role involves extracting data from various sources, cleaning and transforming it, performing statistical analysis, and presenting findings through visualizations and reports. Ultimately, the Data Analyst helps organizations understand trends, solve problems, and improve processes, bridging the gap between raw data and actionable business intelligence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Collection and Management: Source data from diverse locations, including databases, APIs, and web scraping. Responsible for extracting, transforming, and loading data from various sources into usable formats.
• Data Cleaning and Preparation: Handle missing values, correct errors, and ensure data consistency. Develop scripts and workflows to automate these processes, including the creation of cadenced reports.
• Data Analysis and Interpretation: Use statistical tools and techniques to analyze data, identify trends, patterns, and anomalies. May involve hypothesis testing and predictive modeling to support business objectives. 
• Data Visualization and Reporting: Create dashboards, reports, and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Other.
• Collaboration and Communication: Work with cross-functional teams to translate data insights into actionable recommendations. Effectively explain complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Skills Required:

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and programming languages like Ruby or Python for statistical analysis and data manipulation.
• Analytical Skills: Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to interpret data and identify meaningful insights.
• Communication Skills: The ability to effectively present data findings and recommendations to various audiences.

Business Acumen: Understanding the business context and how data analysis can support strategic decision-making.

Education:                         

• A bachelor's degree in a related field such as computer science, statistics, or mathematics
