The role is responsible for planning, directing, monitoring, and controlling all aspects of Payroll Operations, maintaining operational requirements as per company policy, and ensuring the highest standards are maintained in areas of Employee satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end Payroll processing and payroll administrative tasks for India, and coordinate with the payroll vendor.
  • Interface with payroll vendor to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing, including providing payroll inputs, clarifying their queries on inputs, auditing payroll vendor output for accuracy, and managing the vendor to our agreed-upon payroll calendar.
  • Arrange payroll disbursement, including any settlements.
  • Preparation and cross verification of employees’ salary breakups.
  • Holding the responsibility of the checker, input vs. output of the register is done by the payroll vendor to ensure a 100% error-free deliverable.
  • Handling the full & final settlements process for exit employees.
  • Vendor coordination for payroll-related queries and closing the task as per agreed timelines.
  • Statutory liabilities report, like PF, ESIC & PT, to be shared with the statutory team for remittance on a monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and yearly basis.
  • Prepare and update salary registers.
  • Address employee queries relating to payroll.

Skills required:

  • 4+ Years of experience in handling Payroll for India
  • Strong payroll industry expertise
  • Ability to analyze labor law requirements across multiple jurisdictions that are immediately relevant for running payroll
  • Ability to carry out detailed data analytics of payroll data
  • Maintain integrity and ensure the confidentiality of all payroll information
  • Proven knowledge in MS-Excel
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree
