Senior Mobile Engineer

About the Role:

We're looking for a Senior Mobile Engineer focused on iOS to join the Premium Programs team at Mindvalley. This isn’t just an iOS role — though you’ll bring senior-level expertise in iOS (Swift/SwiftUI) and take ownership of iOS development in our team, you’ll also be contributing to Flutter and Android codebases.

You’ll be the go-to person for iOS, but also a true mobile engineer: curious, open, and eager to grow across platforms. That means reviewing PRs, pair programming with teammates, and influencing how we build great mobile products across the board.

About the Team & Culture

You’ll be joining a compact, cross-functional team of fewer than 10 people — including 3 other developers — where your contributions will make a visible difference.

We work in a light-hearted, collaborative environment, running Scrum-based two-week sprints with regular ceremonies (daily huddles, grooming, reviews, demos). Most of us are based in Malaysia and work remotely from home, but we also love gathering at our beautiful office when we want that extra spark of in-person collaboration.

About the Work & Products

We are the Premium Programs Team, responsible for crafting the high-touch learning experiences Mindvalley delivers to its most committed students.

In this role, you will:

• Fully own iOS development for Premium Experiences inside the Mindvalley App.

• Contribute to Six, our private Flutter-based social network for students.

• Collaborate across iOS, Android, and Flutter in a shared repo environment, shaping coding practices across Mindvalley tech.

Some of the challenges and opportunities ahead:

• 🚀 Redesigning the premium experience across the Mindvalley App and web.

• 🎨 Revamping onboarding in Six while polishing the entire social experience.

• 🧪 Expanding our automated QA systems so we can continuously ship without bugs.

• 🤖 Bringing AI-powered experiences to life inside our apps as Mindvalley adopts more AI-driven learning.

Your focus will be ~70% iOS, ~20% Flutter, and ~10% Android, but collaboration across platforms is a must.

Our stack includes Swift, SwiftUI, Kotlin, Flutter, and GraphQL APIs, supported by modern CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in mobile development, with senior-level expertise in iOS (Swift/SwiftUI).

• Strong understanding of mobile app architecture patterns (e.g., MVVM, Clean Architecture).

• Familiarity with GraphQL and modern API design.

• Comfortable working with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.

• Strong communication and listening skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.

Bonus skills that will set you apart:

• Experience with Flutter or Android development.

• A good eye for UI/UX and a passion for building beautiful, user-friendly experiences.

• Curiosity about AI and enthusiasm for bringing new technologies into mobile products.
