Strategic Planning & Vision • Define and execute the strategic vision for delivery excellence and operational efficiency • Partner with executive leadership to align delivery and operations strategy with business objectives • Lead long-term planning for team growth, capability development, and organizational scaling • Drive strategic initiatives that transform how the organization approaches delivery and operations
Organizational Development • Design and implement delivery frameworks and operational processes that teams can execute consistently • Establish governance structures, decision-making processes, and escalation paths • Create measurement systems and reporting mechanisms that provide visibility into team performance • Lead organizational change initiatives that improve delivery velocity and operational effectiveness
Cross-Functional Leadership • Collaborate with engineering, product, and business leaders to ensure alignment on delivery priorities and operational needs • Lead cross-functional initiatives and represent delivery and operations perspectives in strategic planning • Build partnerships with other departments to optimize resource allocation and minimize organizational friction • Drive executive reporting on delivery performance, operational metrics, and team development progress
Leadership Experience • 5+ years of progressive leadership experience building and scaling delivery and operations teams • Proven track record of recruiting, developing, and retaining high-performing technical and operational talent • Experience leading teams through organizational growth, change management, and strategic transformations • Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate effectively with executive leadership and cross-functional partners
Strategic & Operational Expertise • Deep understanding of delivery methodologies and operational excellence frameworks with experience implementing them at scale • Experience establishing team structures, processes, and governance that enable consistent execution • Track record of building measurement systems and using data to drive team performance and organizational improvements • Strong background in strategic planning, budget management, and resource allocation across multiple teams
Organizational Development • Experience designing and implementing organizational structures that support both delivery speed and operational stability • Proven ability to create and execute talent development programs and succession planning • Track record of building strong team cultures that emphasize both performance and professional growth • Experience leading change management initiatives and driving adoption of new processes and methodologies
Communication & Influence • Exceptional communication and presentation skills with ability to influence at all organizational levels • Experience leading executive reporting, strategic planning sessions, and organizational communications • Proven ability to build consensus across diverse stakeholders and drive alignment on complex initiatives • Strong coaching and mentoring skills with track record of developing other leaders
