- Manage and improve CDN config across global edge (cache rules, redirects, routing)
- Triage CDN production issues via logs and performance for high-traffic events
- Review MRs and advise on cache behavior and edge performance
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitLab CI for CDN config changes
- Partner with dev teams across US/EU time zones to onboard services behind CDN
- Maintain docs, runbooks, and operational procedures; contribute to monitoring/alerts on edge traffic
🎯 Requirements
- 3+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Web Operations
- Hands-on experience with public CDNs (Fastly, Varnish, Cloudflare, Akamai); write cache/routing rules
- Strong understanding of HTTP cache headers, redirects, surrogate keys, purge strategies
- Experience with GitLab CI/CD and Linux administration
- Scripting in Python or Bash; comfortable with AI coding tools (Copilot/Claude)
- Upper-intermediate English; strong communication for distributed teams
- Background operating CDN for high-traffic, event-driven, or live streaming workloads
- Familiarity with Kubernetes (read level) and AWS infra; TCP/TLS/DNS knowledge
