Mid-Level DevSecOps SME / Cloud Security Engineer (ISSE)

📋 Description

• Evaluate system designs, containerized apps, and cloud architectures (AWS/GCP) for security.
• Perform vulnerability assessments with SonarQube, Snyk, NeuVector, and OWASP ZAP.
• Review software install requests and assess risk in Kubernetes environments.
• Coordinate security actions and report status via GitOps with ArgoCD and GitLab CI/CD.
• Maintain client certification to field security approvals using DISA STIGs, Ansible, Dockerfiles.
• Implement and monitor logging, metrics, and tracing with Grafana, Loki, Prometheus, Tempo, Alloy.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in IT security, IA, or DevSecOps engineering
• Background in secure software development with Python or Golang and REST APIs automation
• Experience working with customers to improve cybersecurity posture
• Experience authoring security docs and hardening configurations for cloud environments
• Strong Kubernetes administration and containerization (Docker)
• US Citizenship and active TS/SCI clearance
