- Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot metrology equipment (IV testers, PL, AOI)
- Perform calibration, verification, and preventive maintenance on tools for texturing, PECVD, PVD, metallization, and final testing
- Monitor metrology data trends and deviations; support root cause analysis to meet cell targets (efficiency, Voc, Jsc, FF)
- Collaborate with engineering to develop procedures and improvements for accuracy and repeatability
- Execute startup/shutdown procedures; maintain equipment in ISO-classified cleanrooms
- Track maintenance and present status reports to leadership
🎯 Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- 2+ years of hands-on technical experience or an associate’s degree in STEM
- Experience with metrology/inspection tools in semiconductor, solar, or precision manufacturing
- Knowledge of IV testing, PL, ellipsometry, and sheet resistance
- Ability to read P&IDs, schematics, and technical docs
- Experience calibrating and maintaining measurement accuracy in high-volume production
- Proficiency with SPC and data analysis tools
