Own Archer's enterprise Metrology Program across San Jose and Covington.
Define roadmap for metrology tools, systems, and processes.
Lead aircraft inspection plans for test/conformity using MBD/GD&T.
Design/oversee verification framework for Midnight using risk-based inspection.
Develop measurement programs for wing features and key geometries.
Author procedures and train metrology personnel; embed metrology in design reviews.

🎯 Requirements

10+ years metrology in aerospace or regulated manufacturing.
Expert-level proficiency with Calypso, PolyWorks, and/or FARO software.
Hands-on and supervisory experience with CMMs, laser trackers, articulating arms, optical systems.
Strong GD&T, MBD/MBE, geometry evaluation, and tolerance stack-up analysis.
Experience establishing metrology programs and quality oversight in production/test.
Knowledge of AS9100/AS9103/AS9145/AS6500; bonus: FAA interfacing & composites.
