Full Stack Software Engineer II ( Angular/ Java)

Position Summary

This role will focus on building rich, responsive user interfaces while contributing to the full-stack architecture and development lifecycle. This role will collaborate across teams to design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable web applications that power our enterprise solutions.

Expected Duties:

Develop single-page applications (SPAs)using Angular and modern front-end tooling.

-

Implement reusable UI components and frameworks that support multiple product lines.

-

Collaborate with back-end engineers to integrate RESTful APIs and ensure seamless data flow.

-

Mentor junior engineers for front-end initiatives as needed.

-

Ensure front-end code quality, performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.

-

Contribute to architectural decisions that span both front-end and back-end systems.

-

Participate in Agile ceremonies and drive continuous improvement in development practices.

Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

-

Bachelor’s degree in STEMor equivalent experience.

-

4+ years of professional software development experience

-

2+ years of Angular development, with mastery of HTML, CSS, ES6, and front-end tooling (e.g., NPM).

-

Experience building SPAs and working with DOM manipulation and browser compatibility.

-

Proven ability to implement design patterns such as observables, flow control, and error handling.

-

4+ years of Java/J2EE experience, including integration with RESTful services and RDBMS (SQL).

-

Familiarity withautomated front-end testingframeworks (e.g., Jasmine).

-

Experience withCI/CD pipelines,Docker, andKubernetes.

-

Strong problem-solving skills and understanding of object-oriented design and algorithms.

-

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

-

Experience withSpring Boot,Spring JPA/Hibernate, andSpring Security.

Preferred Experience, Qualifications and skills

-

Exposure tonon-relational databases(Redis, Elasticsearch, etc.).

-

Familiarity withDevOps toolslike Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Terraform.

-

Knowledge ofmicroservices architectureand distributed systems.

-

Scripting experience inJavaScript, Python, or Shell.

-

Prior experience mentoring engineers and driving front-end best practices.

This person needs to be available for team meetings at 9: 30 AM EST

Salary range of $108,800 - $140,000. [It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range.] The actual salary will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law including geographical location.
