Merchant Analytics Manager

📋 Description

• Lead data analysis to show Upside impact and incremental profit
• Interface with merchant partners to build analytics relationships
• Manage analysis projects to improve product and merchant acquisition
• Scale analyses across merchants via scripting and BI tools
• Partner with Product Marketing to articulate our technology to partners
• Pioneer new data strategies as Upside expands verticals

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years in quantitative analysis or related role
• Degree in math, statistics, economics, or quantitative field preferred
• Ability to distill complex analyses into simple explanations
• Strong project management; end-to-end cross-functional projects
• Experience leading analysis that drives business decisions and presenting to partners
• Experience using SQL to analyze large datasets
• Experience with Looker/Tableau and Python a plus
• Client-facing experience a plus
• Experience with Grocery/Restaurant/Fuel/Retail industries a plus
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup
