We are looking for a

Working Student - People Experience (m/f/d) to support our initiatives around building a world-class experience from onboarding throughout various learning and growth initiatives and the employee’s journey at Mendix. As a fast-growing organization within the Siemens group the way we work together is continually evolving. Our success starts with people, and your mission is to make their experience an exceptional one.

You will be joining an experienced global team who work in a collaborative environment and are driven by their own success of the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the design and delivery of international learning and growth initiatives
  • Contribute to the planning, scheduling, and administration of courses, workshops, and development programs. Coordinate logistics and governance processes to ensure smooth execution and alignment with organizational standards.

  • Enhance the learning experience through design, data, and collaboration
  • Support the creation of engaging learning materials and initiatives, collect and analyze program data to measure impact, and collaborate with stakeholders to promote participation and visibility of learning and growth opportunities across regions.

  • Contribute to global people experience projects
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to drive strategic topics related to people experience, employee engagement, and professional development.

  • Support communication and event preparation
  • Create presentations for management and assist with the preparation and follow-up of internal events and meetings.

  • Support internal communication
  • Create clear and engaging communication materials, including presentations for management and updates for internal channels.

  • Assist with event preparation and coordination
  • Help organize and follow up on internal events and meetings, ensuring smooth execution and effective participation.

  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement
  • Bring new ideas, strategies, and solutions to strengthen employee satisfaction, learning engagement, and retention

    Requirements:

  • You are an enrolled student in a degree program preferably with a focus on Business Administration, Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field.
  • You possess a strong desire to take initiative, have a passion for learning and growth, and enjoy taking on responsibility.
  • You demonstrate strong organizational and coordination abilities, along with excellent communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with teams and management of tasks.
  • Ideally, you already have initial experience with image editing software and web-based learning platforms.
  • You have proficient MS Office skills (PowerPoint and Excel) and are business fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • What else do you need to know?

  • Timeframe: starting immediately, ideally for a longer term
  • Maximum hours: 20 hours per week (up to 35 hours per week possible during semester breaks)
