Melrose Park- Security Officer

📋 Description

• Provide excellent customer service and assist with directions.
• Control access for patrons, visitors, or vendors.
• Conduct patrols and stand post, observe/report suspicious activity.
• Patrol up to 10 miles per day to deter theft and maintain safety.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies; log incident data for management.
• Other duties as assigned.

🎯 Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Obtain and maintain a valid Illinois PERC with training requirements.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Lift 50+ lbs; perform foot patrols; work in inclement weather.
• Extensive foot patrols two times per shift on weekends, three times per shift on weekdays.
• Bi-lingual is a plus.
• Evening, overnight, and weekend availability required.
