Medi-cal Enrollment Specialist

📋 Description

• Gather documentation to create, submit, and appeal Medi-Cal enrollments.
• Visit seniors’ homes to collect docs for complete applications.
• Maintain relationships with DPSS to ensure seamless enrollment and deadlines.
• Create Medi-Cal enrollment events: weekly at centers, monthly at housing/hospitals, and virtual sessions.
• Demonstrate Medi-Cal rules, processes, options, including share of cost, protections, and appeals.
• Provide back-up support to Outreach and Enrollment functions as needed.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred; 5 years Medi-Cal enrollment experience may substitute.
• Bilingual Spanish/English strongly preferred.
• At least 3 years direct DPSS Medi-Cal enrollment submission, management and appeals.
• Demonstrated knowledge of complex Medi-Cal enrollment case management.
