- Actuator mechanical design and integration of motors, gears, bearings, sensors, and electronics
- GD&T for mechanical systems; kinematic and structural analysis (hand calculations and FEA)
- Siemens NX CAD and Simcenter or ANSYS FEA tools
- Bearing selection and sizing; involute gear design
