Mechanical Inspector, Second Shift

📋 Description

• Conduct inspections of machined components per engineering drawings.
• Use calipers, micrometers, profilometers, thread gauges, pin gauges to verify drawings.
• Document results, identify nonconformities, and write NCRs.
• Perform visual inspection for burrs, damage, scratches or FOD.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the quality lab and metrology tools.
• Available shifts: First Shift 5:00 am–3:30 pm; Second Shift 3:00 pm–1:30 am PT.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 2 years in mechanical inspection or quality control.
• Reads/interprets drawings with GD&T and Y14.5.
• Proficient with inspection tools and measurement techniques.
• Understanding helicoils, keenserts, AS5202 threads, and finishes.
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork.
