📋 Description

• Develop vehicle structures for robotic systems and integration.
• Own architecture, design, analysis, prototyping, production support.
• Mentor junior engineers within the Mechanical Engineering team.
• Lead initial production builds at the Richland, WA facility.
• Define structural qualification testing and compliance scope.
• Collaborate in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary robotics program.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years designing, testing, producing complex mechanical parts and systems.
• SolidWorks; ANSYS Mechanical and ANSYS Motion for FEA.
• Configuring and interpreting FEA simulations and results.
• Designing sheet metal, machined parts, weldments, thermoplastics, and composites.
• Design for harsh outdoor environments; protect against water ingress and corrosion.
• BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent; willing to travel ~10%.
